Fuse Member Helps Aspiring Architect Student

Kyle Lepper of LPR Architecture

Kyle, a member of Fuse, provided an internship for Ellie Peterson, a junior at Oregon State University.  Ellie is majoring in Architectural Engineering. Kyle said he was once an intern and understands the importance of providing this opportunity for students.  The internship added an important layer to the bookwork in school, giving her real world experience. She did schematic designs, model making, visited sites, took notes for client meetings and helped with marketing for three months this summer.

She also had the opportunity to grasp the business and project management side of things. The internship gives her an early start and confidence in what she wants to do, including different avenues of project types.
